Toyota's Platinum service level offers the following coverage in the case of mechanical failure of covered components:
- Components The highest level of mechanical failure protection - covering virtually every component group.
- Towing: Unlimited reimbursement for towing to the nearest Toyota dealership.
- Substitute Transportation $50 per day for a maximum of five days per occurrence.
- Travel Protection: If you’re more than 150 miles from home, $100 of your meals and lodging per day for a maximum of five days over the life of the agreement
- Transferability: If you sell your vehicle, the remaining coverage may be transferable, helping to enhance your vehicle’s resale value. Transferability is limited to one time only.
Ineligible Uses
- Ineligible Uses include taxis, shuttle, commuter, municipal, professional, emergency, or police vehicles, salvage vehicles
- All vehicles used or to be used for plowing snow, competitive driving or racing, or towing a trailer whose weight exceeds the manufacturer’s recommendation for the vehicle
- All vehicles to be held by the purchaser or lessee for hire to the public or for hire to any persons not affiliated with the vehicle purchaser or lessee.
